Who we are

THE WILSON FOUNDATION is a UK registered charity established to give ‘a helping hand’ to young people in Northamptonshire. In memory of the late Connolly Thomas Wilson OBE, a Northamptonshire man who created a highly successful building company, the charity was formed in 1970. Since then his successors have remained loyal benefactors, donating considerable funds.

As the charity evolved, contributions now support a diverse range of community projects operating within the county. These include regular donations to The Princes Trust, Northamptonshire Association of Youth Clubs, the Starlight Children’s Charity and Northamptonshire Community Foundation.

However, the primary aim remains to help under privileged young people (under 21 years old) living within Northamptonshire in character-building exercises and therefore giving a helping hand to those youngsters who have not had many opportunities so far.
