NSB Talent Camp's Story

The Wilson Foundation pledged to donate a total of £10,000 to sponsor the NSB Talent Camp over a three year period (2010 – 2012). The Talent Camp is held for gifted and talented sports performers and is open to boys and girls aged 8 – 12 years old and held at Northampton School for Boys. 2011 was the best and biggest year yet, with over 120 youngsters from all over Northamptonshire and the feedback has been great from both parents and pupils.

‘The Talent Camp is becoming a real feature event for 8-12 yr olds and its popularity is growing year to year. We are extremely grateful for the support of the Wilson Foundation that allows us the chance to offer this opportunity to so many young children - we have two boys who came to first Camp 6 years ago now in the Saints Academy Squad and in fact one of them, Tom Collins played for the Saints 1st team in pre –season.’ Mark Lee, NSB

Arsenal Football Club
, the Northampton Saints Rugby Club, Northampton School For Boys and Northamptonshire Schools Cricket Association provided fully qualified coaches for the two day course.
