Longtown's Story
Longtown Outdoor Education Centre offers a wide range of challenging adventurous activities and courses for young people, adults, families and businesses.
It is located in a superb rural setting on the edge of the Black Mountains of the Brecon Beacon’s National Park. The fully equipped residential centre has excellent on-site facilities set in 16 acres of private grounds.
They specialise in courses for schools, youth groups, Duke of Edinburgh Award candidates, adults and business groups. Every course is tailored to produce the very best from each group. The centre is open 7 days a week all year round. The courses vary in length from 1 day to 5 days and can be tailor-made to meet the needs of your group.
The Wilson Foundation donates annually to Longtown’s bursary fund which makes a difference to children and young adults throughout Northamptonshire.
